Admission FAQs
Question 1. What are the eligibility criteria for B.E. course?
Ans: As prescribed by AICTE, New Delhi eligibility for all Under-Graduate Engineering Programmes the candidates must have passed 10+2 examination (or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
Question 2. What are the criteria for taking admissions under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFW)?
All students with family income of less than Rs. 2.5 lacs per year shall be eligible to opt for seats under this scheme
Question 3: How can I take admission in the course if I have not appeared for either PET or AIEEE?
College Level Counseling will be conducted at the Institute Level in presence of DTE Nominee and students will be alloted vacant seats, based on his/her merit in Class XII examination
Question 4: What is the approval status for courses being run in SAIT?
Ans: The courses are duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) Bhopal.
Question 5: What is the Fee Structure for the course?
Ans: The fee for the entire course is decided by Admission & Fee Regulation Committee of MP (www.afrcmp.org). The tuition fees remain unchanged during the entire course. The rest of the fees are optional the details of which can be obtained from Admissions Helpline: 09685026677, 09685026688
Question 6: What are the mandatory fees and optional fees?
Ans: The Caution Money and the Tuition fees payable is the only mandatory fees at the time of admission. Rest of the fees like Hostel, Bus, Book Bank etc are all optional.
Question 7: What are the modes of payment of Fees?
Ans: Fees are accepted either in Cash or in Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences” payable at Indore. Cheques are not accepted.
Question 8: Do I need to submit the documents in Original at the time of admission?
Ans: The documents are only verified from the original and the college keeps only the attested photocopies of the same.
Question 9: Is Hostel and Mess facility available for students?
Ans: Hostel and Mess facilities are available for both boys and girls inside the campus premises.
Question 10: Where can I avail for Student Loan Facility?
Ans: A loan facility can be availed from respective bank branches. SAIT provides assistance to students to avail loan facility.
Question 11: What are the various scholarships available?
Ans: Government of Madhya Pradesh provides scholarship to SC, ST and OBC candidates subject to certain terms and conditions.
Question 12: Is there any dress code?
Ans: There is no particular uniform for the students but students are expected to dress up neatly and in formals during weekdays.
