At present, we provide the services for following tests in CIVIL DEPARTMENT:-

• Water PH value and hardness test.
• Cement - Initial & final setting time and consistency test.
• Aggregate - Particle size analysis and fineness modulus.
• Bricks – Dimension tolerance, water absorption, efflorescence and Compressive strength test.
• Concrete Cubes – Compressive strength test.
• Steel – Tensile strength, young’s modulus, cold bent test.

We are in the process of upgrading our laboratory to provide services for testing of all types of building construction materials.

Samples required for testing

For Aggregate -10 Kg.

For Concrete – 3 No cubes cured in standard condition at 7/14/28 days.

Test on cement – 10 Kg.

Test on Bricks -20 Nos.

Equipments available in our institute:-

• UTM machine of 100 tonnes capacity.
• Compression testing machine.
• Sieves of all sizes as per Burrow of Indian Standard.
• Vicat’s test laboratory.
