Students of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology were taken to the M.P. Wind Farms, Dewas to understand the practical nuances of power generation through Windmill. During this visit, Mr. Bhatia, General Manager of M.P. Wind Farms shares some interesting facts regarding power generation through windmill. He also briefed students about their working, construction and measures to be taken care at the time of installation of these windmills. He also describes the working and how we can generate electricity by the use of the windmills. He said that today we are supplying electricity with capacity of 11KV / 440 Watt, because the construction is done by the old technique. But in the near future, by the use of modern techniques of construction we are able to increase this supply up to the capacity of 33KV / 440Watt. The main aim of this technical visit is to educate the students about the generation of power through windmill, distribution and storage of electricity and to explain the flow of energy and telemetry technique, which in turn helps the students to use these practical knowledge in shaping their bright future.
