To bridge this gap, SAIMST, in the very year of inception of it’s Engineering and Management Colleges, has established two innovative independent, separately administered centers i.e. Sri Aurobindo Industry Interface development center (SAIIDC) and Sri Aurobindo Finishing School (SAIFS). IIDC shall remain in constant touch with the industry to obtain and asses the needs of the Industry, what special technical skills that are required in addition  to the academic qualification and give feed back to the finishing school so that it may prepare modules for training of the students accordingly, enabling them to secure a promising and satisfying career. The center shall also enter into strategic alliances with reputed Industrial and corporate houses for the training and placement of it’s students. The center has already signed MOU with Resilant Technologies, Exxon Automations. Dimension Innovation, Lazer India, and J-Kar Energy Venture and today It has signed an MOU with WIPRO Shri Trivedi said that the center shall continue to tie-up with Indian and foreign institutions to facilitate the training and placement opportunities for it’s management and engineering students.

The finishing school, first of it’s kind in central India, shall work for development of the students. Based upon the feed back received from the IIDC it shall prepare training modules incorporating personality development programs, communication skills, writing skills, technical skills, facing interviews etc. so that the students of these institute have an edge over others when they enter into job market. Mr. Trivedi said that a recent study has revealed  that though there are a number of engineering and management degree holders in the country but there exists an acute shortage of skilled and competent engineers and managers.
